Kacy and Mike wanted to get married in a church. Rockefeller Center in NYC is a special place to them since that’s where Mike had proposed. With St. Patrick’s Cathedral‘s incredible beauty and close proximity to Rockefeller Center, it was a great choice for the ceremony! They met a few days before their wedding celebration for a beautiful ceremony with their family at the church. What an honor to be there to document it! We didn’t have much time for portraits, but I loved that I was able to meet them at Rockefeller Center and snap away as they walked to the church. It was so exciting for them when they first saw St. Patrick’s steeple peak over the buildings as they walked!
Their wedding celebration a few days later took place at Indian Trail Club in Franklin Lakes NJ. What a quaint venue full of large windows looking out to a picturesque lake. The beach had the most perfect little tree that happened to be in bloom. It made for a great backdrop against the sky which was turning dark as a storm rolled in. All of Kacy and Mike’s nieces and nephews were a part of the wedding party. They had a blast that day and their energy was fun to have around. I get such a kick out of the photos of Mike with the kids! Kacy and Mike, it has been so fun working with you throughout this journey to becoming husband and wife. You make me love my job even more and your love for each other is inspirational. I’m so excited to see what the future holds for you! xo
