What a fun afternoon it was with Shannon and Scott! I was so nervous driving to the shoot since it was raining, but soon after arriving at Waterloo Village, the rain stopped and the sun even popped out some! I love how down to earth these two are. They had been friends for a time before becoming a couple which is always an awesome foundation for a relationship! They are so sweet together. I loved being able to meet with them at Waterloo Village for their engagement photos which is also where they will be getting married next fall! They are so excited about their wedding and the space they found for it. I can see why! I had never been to or heard of this abandoned village and had so much fun exploring all of the interesting sites with them. It’s an incredibly cool property. A quaint little 19th century canal town that’s now a state park. We visited when the fall foliage was at it’s peak. It was breath taking for sure! It’s an amazing spot for a wedding with so many fantastic backdrops and fun things for guests to explore! I can’t wait for Shannon and Scott to tie the knot there next year. Congratulations you two!
