Great Gatsby Themed Wedding

Erica and Joe’s celebration took place at Turning Stone Resort Casino in upstate NY. It had been a special place to them throughout their relationship and was perfect for their Great Gatsby themed wedding! The turquoise, black, and gold reception room looked like it was out of the 1920’s. Art deco at its best! The club style seating and tables were embellished with wispy feathers, gold candelabras and old books. Erica has always had a love for fashion. She wore three vintage style dresses! A mocha colored beaded dress for their intimate first look where they exchanged heartfelt vows. The main dress, white and beaded with fringe complete with a cathedral veil, forehead band, and fringed elbow length gloves for the ceremony. Lastly, a white beaded fringe mini dress for party dancing! Joe had no idea she would be changing. His look when he saw her walking down the aisle was heart melting! Joe himself looked quite debonair in his well fitted white tux with black lapel and black pants. The bridesmaids all wore different style vintage inspired dresses with fun accessories like delicate lace fingerless gloves. There were no flowers at the wedding at all. The bouquets, boutonnières, and centerpieces were all feathers! Erica and Joe were on cloud nine after their beautiful outdoor ceremony, then we had a blast taking portraits with a vintage Rolls Royce. Guests, also dressed for the vintage theme, were welcomed to the party walking underneath a marquee sign which read, “Have a roaring good time” along with their names and date. Guests looked on while the couple shared their first dance as the band played. It was very clear to see how madly in love these two are! They locked eyes and danced as if no one else was in the room. Maggie, a very talented live event painting artist captured this dance incredibly! Erica and Joe were full of emotion when seeing the finished piece at the end of the night! After the party, the couple enjoyed a private last dance in the room where so many wonderful memories were made then headed out for a fun sparkler exit!
